The Next Right Step
Always moving forward, the Y pivots to serve both the ever-changing needs of the community as well as continuing to care for its members and staff. Working with the Board of Directors, Y leadership is prayerfully ensuring each strategic decision is the next right step.
Y STAFF SUPPORT
The YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville employs more than 250 people. The Y understand its staff are its greatest asset and is proud of this driving force working for change in the community. As such, during the COVID-19 pandemic, no YEPP staff member was required to take furlough or was laid off. Every full time and part time staff member continued to be paid, even for missed time, unless they requested a furlough.
COVID-19 RESPONSE
Words can’t express our gratitude for the overwhelming support from our members and community during the COVID-19 crisis. We have continued serving our community and loving our neighbors well, meeting the challenges and needs in ways we never have before.
Much of our ability to do this is because of our members who chose to Stay With Us. A Y membership is SO MUCH MORE than access to the YMCA. As a Y member, you are part of changing lives, and our community, for the better. As we reopen our branches in a safe, phased approach, keep up-to-date with our new and evolving Reopening Guidelines here.
PROVIDING COMMUNITY RELIEF
The Y stands ready to educate, comfort, serve and support our community. We are grateful for you and your donation, which enables us to respond to whatever challenges are faced by those we serve. All donations go towards supporting our community and responding to needs right here at home.
