Sarah Nix

I began working at the Pickens YMCA when I was 18, during my senior year of high school, and have had the opportunity to work in nearly every department since. My passion for the Y’s mission has only grown over the years, and I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with our members and learning their stories. Helping others is something that brings me great fulfillment.

I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Western Carolina University, and I plan to continue my education by earning a graduate degree in Project Management. Outside of work and school, I love attending concerts, going on weekend trips, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I am deeply grateful for the friendships I’ve built at the YMCA over the years and feel blessed to be part of a Christian organization that wholeheartedly supports my ministry and personal growth.
